It's time to get out there to our fans!...ha!
Over the last few months we have been thinking about how we can expand our Floristry business.
No matter what we discussed, what ideas we came up with, we always came back to this little dream that has been tucked away in the back of our minds...A mobile flower shop!
It's an idea that has been brewing, but very much benched for a long time now.
Last year we invested in our yellow van, for the purpose of flower deliveries and eventually taking it out on the road.
But in reality, I think we used it twice on the road and for a handful of deliveries.
It never felt like the right time to actually commit to the dream..But..
Now it really does!
We're bringing our Floristry to you!
Do you remember back 30+ years ago, when you had mobile fish mongers, butchers, green grocers and even flower sellers? They would pitch up on the side of the road or on a street corner on certain days (that everyone knew) in your local villages and town, and would just bring the community together for their fresh produce.
We don't have this anymore. Yes we have farmers markets and weekly town markets, but not like we used to.
Well, we want to bring that vibe back to you all with our little mobile flower shop.
We want to bring a little bit of nostalgia back.
Now humour me here, I want to reminisce for a moment..
Quite a few years ago now, my Mum and Stepdad lived on the South East London/Kent border.
We would go and visit them as often as we could (Where is this going, I hear you ask...I'm getting to that now)
When driving to visit them, there was always one thing that stood out for me on the last leg of the journey, something I still remember to this day.
Less than 15mins from their house was a mobile flower seller. We had to pass them every time we'd go and visit.
Come rain or shine, they were there. Under their gazebo surrounded by the most beautiful display of fresh flowers. Set up in a lay by just off the main road, and they always had customers.
But, do you know what? Not once did we ever stop, and I regret that fact now.
The point of my little story is, that flower seller has stuck with me for years. It's a vision that has never left me.
This is what we want for you guys. This is the vibe and ethos we want to bring out on the road.
I want someone else to look back in 30 years time and remember the yellow van flower seller with the cute yellow parasols. I know I could be looking at it all through rose tinted glasses, but why can't it be like that again?
If we can make one person smile through flowers, then we've done our job.

Right, it's all well and good me sitting here reminiscing, but I should give you the details about what's going to happen really shouldn't I?
We've put together a few FAQ's below, which we hope will help answer any questions you might have.
We have 3 locations currently booked in for September all within the Carmarthenshire, South West Wales area.
We're starting small within our local communities to see how things go.
