We know planning your wedding can be magical and exciting, but we also know how daunting it can feel.
Having to navigate around choosing a venue, what food you're gonna have, picking the perfect dress or suits, the guest list and of course sorting your flowers.

Florals at a wedding can bring your day alive, it can add that special something. But we know it can also be a mind field for couples when it comes to choosing your florist.
So, I've written a guide of the key, important questions to ask your Wedding Florist.
Believe me when I say, we love when you ask questions. No question is too silly (unless you ask us 'if flowers are really necessary?' 😉)
We are here to help.
By asking questions, we get to know you, we get a sense of what you like and what you don't like, who you are as people and what vibe you're aiming for.
Let us guide you. Let us be the professionals we are, and trust that we will help you with every aspect of your wedding flowers from start to finish.
You don't need to know anything about Flowers or Floristry, that's our job.
Here's my Top Questions to ask your Wedding Florist.
Are you available on my date? It's an important one. Get that out the way first.
Can you travel to my location? Not every florist travels nationwide, so make sure you check.
How far in advance should I book you? Get your Florist booked early if you can. Believe me when I say, some florists are being booked 2 years in advance.
What budget should I have for Flowers? If you're not sure what budget to allocate to flowers, your Florist can guide you.
Do you take a Booking Fee/Deposit? Most Florists will take a Non Refundable Booking Fee.
When would I need to pay my final balance? This will help you budget your finances leading up to your wedding.
What can you create for my budget? Don't be scared to ask this question. It's your money after all.
Can we have a chat about things? Most Florists will arrange a consultation with you after your initial enquiry.
How many Weddings do you do per day? This is a great question. You want to be assured that your day is taking priority.
Have you worked at my venue before? Not an essential question, but sometimes it's nice to know.
Can you help with colours, theme, designs etc? Remember your florist is there to help you!
Can you guide me on flower choices? Whats in season? They can help you. They are the experts.
Is delivery included in the final price? Make sure this is made clear to you, you don't want any hidden charges popping up later down the line.
Do you charge more for long distance? I'll tell you now, the answer will be YES, so if you want a specific florist, then be prepared to pay for them.
Can you stay for a while on the day to repurpose our flowers? Always helpful to know that your florist is happy to transport flowers on the day for you, or repurpose them.
We'd like Flowers on our Cake, can you supply them please? Always ask your Florist to source your cake flowers. Some flowers are poisonous, and you don't want them anywhere near your cake.
Do you come back and collect any hired items? This is good to know, as you don't want to worrying about delivering items back after your wedding.
Will it be you on site on the day? It's always good to know who will be your point of contact on the day.
Can we keep in contact leading up to the Wedding to discuss any changes etc? Florists love to keep in contact.
Is Delivery and Set up included in the price? Make sure everything is itemised on your invoice
What is your Cancellation/Refund policy? Always ask this question, and make sure you have it in writing.
What happens if my flower choices are unavailable? Remember florists are the experts.
Now, I know, this might seem like a lengthy list, but they are all questions worth considering.
The more questions you ask, the more trust and transparency you can have with your Florist.
Good Luck and Happy Planning.
