Let's talk Peonies.
They're the one flower everyone wants, but hardly anyone gets...ha!
It's not actually that dramatic, but they certainly are the jewel of the Floristry world.
They only bloom for around a month in May (UK), so if you want them in your displays, you either need to get married in May or June, or have them imported..that's the reality.
But either way...boy are they beautiful!

We planted 3 individual peony roots 3 years ago, and finally this year, one of them flowered...but here's the catch...it has given us 1 single lonely stem of beauty...ha ha! She's absolutely beautiful, but she will be gone in the blink of an eye.
I had planned to cut her and have her in the house, but now the weather is looking lush for the weekend, I'm gonna keep her on her plant and enjoy her in the garden whilst she lasts.

If you're a peony lover too, please do always ask about having them in your displays, and we'll advise you as to how best make that dream work.

I do love a little flower fun on a Sunny Sunday.
I hate seeing all the sad looking flowers that go to waste in supermarkets, so I always try and save some for my own pleasure if I can.
These 2 bunches were actually marked up at £3.50 each, but there was no way I was paying £7 for them, so after a little bargaining I got both bunches for £3.50!
Hurrah!
These purple beauties are now in pride of place on display on my fireplace...lush

I still remember the days when Friday nights involved being down the pub till late and then up early for work on a Saturday morning, only to do it all again on a Saturday night.

Hi Guys!
How are we all?
I'm well aware I've been a little MIA recently.
There is a good reason for it.....
My watering can is empty...🫩
I'm exhausted, and a little burnt out and in need of some rest time.
I'm still slowly working away in the background getting the 2026 Flower Patch ready for the beautiful flower season, but I've had to be honest with myself and take a step back.
I've been juggling an awful lot over the last few months, and it's pushed me a little too close to the edge.
I've had to listen to my body, and I will continue to listen to my body.
There are a few things in my life I need to take control of again, and I'm dealing with them...but believe me when I say, I'm fine... honestly.
I'm just 100% focusing on myself for a little bit.
I do a little task everyday to ensure my brain stays active, but I am absolutely not pushing myself.
I wanted to share this with you, as I like to be open and honest with my followers. Admitting I need rest is not a weakness, it's courage, bravery and self care.
